APALSA/BLSA/LLSA Exam Prep and Outline Bank

Getting ready for exams? Wondering what Professors look for when grading exams? Need an outline? Join APALSA, BLSA, and LLSA for an exam prep workshop and outline bank! All students are welcome, but 1L’s are strongly encouraged to attend.

Speakers will include:
Professors Ottley and Richardson
Recent Grads from Pattishall and Holland & Knight

Friday, November 14, 3-6 p.m.
Room 804
Wine and Cheese following the exam prep, 7th floor lounge

Details here.

1L Memo-Writing Seminar

The seminar will be next Tuesday, November 11th at noon in room 804. For 1L's this is a MUST attend, especially since their final LARC memo counts for 1/4 of their LARC Grade. Professor Pagliari will be the presenter for the seminar. She is the assistant director of the Legal Writing Dept. and is the one who creates most of the Legal Writing assignments for the LARC Professors, so she knows what they are looking for in a final memo. Pizza will be served, and we are also giving away free commercial outlines and other study aids to 1L's. If you would forward this info. and the attached flyer to your 1L's and encourage them to attend, it would be greatly appreciated. Professor Pagliari has agreed to give all attendees a sample LARC Memo to use for a sort of guide for when they write their own memos.
